WHAT IS
​RADIX?

Radix is the Latin word for "roots" and "foundation" and we are all about getting back to the basics of great movement.

​We are a group of individuals dedicated to improving your health and overall well being. We use proven methods in functional performance training, physical therapy, strength and conditioning and mobility for individuals of all ages and sports. We create customized plans to bring forth optimal health, performance, movement while addressing injury prevention and injury treatment.

WHY FUNCTIONAL FITNESS?

At the most basic level, functional fitness refers to exercises that improve daily activity. A functional exercise challenges balance and coordination while simultaneously improving strength and range of motion.

Sometimes we get so focused on losing weight, improving strength or toning up before an event that nothing else at the gym matters. So it’s important that we shift our focus from training for events to training for performance and function, making daily activities easier and improving your performances. With this goal in mind, we'll stay fit, injury-free and perform at the optimal level for life.

We also provide the highest-standard of modern Physical Therapy, techniques and treatments for customers with more serious medical injuries.

We at RADIX choose exercises and programs specifically for your needs. Every warm up, exercise and stretch is intentional -- with a purpose greater than just the movement itself. We clear the fog around the world in the gym and get down to the real stuff which makes you the you, you want to be. 

Additionally, we want to build a conscious community who understands and connects through the campaign and shares ideas and achievements on a social platform to create a better understanding of the RADIX mission.

FOR WATERSKIERS

PROBLEM WORTH SOLVING

Most waterskiers do not have access to waterski-specific training programs or the knowledge to treat and train themselves at home or in the gym. Because of this, the injury rate increases significantly as skiers push themselves on the water. Due to the strain and force put on their bodies, skiers have a tendency to have aching pains and recurring injuries. Additionally, professional waterskiers in Florida do not have a dedicated-facility or trainer for off-water training.
